1. How many streetlights were reported as faulty in the calendar year 2023?
We issued 588 no. works orders during 2023 for repairs of Wokingham Borough Council owned faulty street lights (street lights that were not working as planned). This figure does not included illuminated signs, illuminated bollards, third party works or planned and non-fault related works.

2. What was the average amount of time taken between the reporting of a fault with a streetlight and its resolution in the calendar year 2023?
Average time for completion of the above was 26 calendar days.

3. What was the longest delay between the reporting of a streetlight problem and its resolution in the calendar year 2023?
299 days (please note we have one outstanding fault from 2023 which has been delayed due to traffic management requirements which – this is not included in this calculation).

4. What was the most recent estimate of the number of streetlights in your area that are currently not functioning or partly functioning?
We currently have 29 outstanding works orders (at 10/5/24) for repairs of Wokingham Borough Council owned faulty street lights (street lights that were not working as planned). This figure does not included illuminated signs, illuminated bollards, third party works or planned and non-fault related works.
