1. Please can you provide me with the number of attacks on traffic wardens for the previous five years;
a) 2019/20:
One officer assaulted; suffered scratches to the face.
b) 2020/21:
One officer assaulted; Kicked to the floor, suffered physical harm, officer went to hospital.
c) 2021/22:
One officer pushed to the ground, removed his body worn camera and smashed it. No physical harm to officer resulted from incident.
One officer pushed to the ground, removed his hand-held computer, and smashed it. No physical harm to officer from incident.
One officer violently pushed to the ground. No physical harm to the officer from this incident.
d) 2022/23:
One officer assaulted punched and kicked to the floor suffered physical harm resulting in scratches to the face and received medical attention.
e) 2023/24:
Two officers surrounded by mob that threatened and pursued them, No physical harm to officers from this incident.
One officer punched and pushed against a car resulting in shoulder injury and mental health issues for several months.
