1. I see you are planning to double council tax on second homes - would you be able to tell me how much you expect that to raise in the first year?
We do not hold this information.
As the council tax for 2025/26 financial year will not be set until February 2025 and number of affected properties may change circumstances of have other exemptions applied, we can only give an estimated amount based on the current 2023/24 level of council tax and on the current number of properties at this time within that category. The estimate is £676,448.29
