I am writing to request information relating to a road you are responsible for maintaining. Specifically, my query relates to the church road swallow field north of the George and dragon pub between Nutbean lane and swallow field road. Please can you send me:
1. Details of all information on potholes reported over the past year for church Lane Swallowfield. Please include all dates reported and confirmed and information on the actual potholes, size condition etc.
The attached Excel file gives details of potholes reported via Wokingham Borough Council’s “Report potholes and road/footway damage” system available on the Wokingham Borough website at https://www.wokingham.gov.uk/roadworks-and-outdoor-maintenance/report-problem-roads-and-streets/report-potholes-and-roadfootway-damage
The data has been selected to show potholes reported on Church Lane, Swallowfield, from January 24th 2023 to January 24th 2024. The data has been redacted to remove any personal information. Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine whether individual pothole reports were subsequently confirmed as potholes. Accordingly, it is possible that some pothole reports in fact relate to other road damage. In addition, multiple pothole reports from different customers may describe the same road defect.
