Withdrawn or Cancelled Permanent Exclusion

Please provide me with information on the following:
1. Confirm the total number of permanent exclusions have been withdrawn/cancelled in your local authority area in 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23 and the reasons for the cancellations.
2020/21: 2 withdrawn (1 Managed Move and 1 returned to original school).
2021/22: 4 withdrawn (2 to Alternative Provision at Foundry College, 2 to Managed Moves at another mainstream school). 1 permanent exclusion was quashed at IRP.
2022/23: 4 withdrawn (1 Manage Move and 3 returned to original school).
2. Confirm how many withdrawn/cancelled permanent exclusions resulted in a permanent move to an alternative setting (Managed Move) in your local authority area in 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23.
2020/21: 1 Managed Move, successful.
2021/22: 1 Alternative Provision to foundry for 15 months, EHCP awarded and now in Special School. 2 Managed Moves, successful. 1 Alternative Provision to Foundry then returned to home school.
2022/23: 1 Managed Move, successful.
