See notes
1. Freedom of information request for information on percentage of council office/administration staff working from home; whether or not staff working from home receive additional financial support, over and above normal salary, for energy, internet use while working at home and, if additional support is given, the cost to local taxpayers of the WFH scheme.
Wokingham Borough Council had an average headcount of 180 employees in office for the past month – November 2023. Therefore, an average of 87.5% of employees worked from home. WBC offer all employees a hybrid working pattern, meaning that they have the opportunity to work from home or in office. As the office “hot desk” option is available for employees, WBC employees do not receive additional financial assistance.
