The Council are applying Section 43 (Commercially Sensitive) to this question because in releasing this information would provide an unfair advantage to competitors in the same field as this company. This would allow others to know their pricing strategy and profit margins. It would not be in the public interest to disclose this information as the Council needs to be able to discuss/negotiate/consider options and seek best value for (public) money in its deals.
