1. Please can you confirm the names of any care provider your authority has paid fees to in respect of Adults or Children which has included standard rated VAT (at 20%) at any time within the last six months. Can you confirm when did the council start paying these providers VAT. To clarify a care provider would be regulated by CQC and/or OFSTED for the provision of residential/nursing care for either adults or young people.
Response from Adult Social Care:
• Leonard Cheshire: contract/VAT invoicing started October 2018.
• Keys PCE Limited: contract/VAT invoicing started September 2023.
Response from Childrens Services: We don’t report on this, this would exceed the 18hour time limit to identify and validate.
