1. How much money has the parking services department spent on investments using public money please in the past 3 years. This includes to any persons businesses or companies
£0. We do not use parking income for investments.
2. How much money annually are paid out of the public’s money in wages amongst all employees annually
In 2022/23 the council spent £65.7m on salaries of all staff. This excludes Schools and Housing which is self-funding.
3. How much money annually does the parking service pay out in sub contractors fees
Service costs for our contractors for last year were £757,700.
4. How much money in the past 3 years has the parking services department spent on office equipment
We have spent approx. £7,000 on office equipment in the last 3 years.
5. How much money in the past 3 years has the parking services borrowed from any other individual or company or other council
We have not borrowed any money from individuals or companies or other councils.
6. How much money in the past 3 years has the parking service department spent on fuel costs for employees
Parking services have no vehicles for Council staff. All Contractor vehicles and their fuel costs are included in the Service contract fees.
7. How much money in the past 3 years as the parking services spent on taxis and trains for employees over the past 3 years
Parking services have not claimed any taxi fares and have claimed approx. £142 on train fares over the last 3 years.

Parking services does not pay any bonus’s to employees from the public purse.

Parking services have an annual turnover of Approx. £1.392m

The parking service have not claimed any aircraft travel fees in the last 3 years.
