Highway maintenance of A321 Wokingham

The request relates to a road your authority is responsible for maintaining, the A321 Wokingham to Sandhurst, specifically the 200m section following the junction with the B3430 (nine Mile Ride) travelling towards Sandhurst. Please can you send me:
1. A copy of your current road maintenance policy relating to that road. Please send me the full policy, but this should include details of the intended frequency of road safety inspections, how these inspections should be conducted and the maximum time between identification of a defect and repairs being carried out.
Wokingham Borough Council’s approach to road maintenance is explained in the Wokingham Highways Inspection Policy (WHIP), which forms Volume 2 (Highway Network Maintenance) of the Wokingham Highways Maintenance Management Plan (HMMP). The HMMP was last revised in November 2022 and a copy of Volume 2 is supplied with this response. 2. A copy of the road repair history for that section of road over the past year. Again, please send me the full road repair history, but this should include:
• Dates of all safety inspections between May 1st and July 31st 2023
• Details of how safety inspections were undertaken (walked or driven, speed of inspection vehicle etc)
• Details of all carriageway defects identified, with description, date and time
• Details of how the authority handled these defects, what repairs were undertaken and the time between the identification of each defect and a repair being carried out.
An Inspection Report is provided for A321 Lower Wokingham Road, Crowthorne. The Inspection Report contains details of all inspections carried out on the road over the past year (from 1 Aug 2022 to 4 Aug 2023), including inspection dates, inspection findings, actions taken, customer reports and works orders. The Inspection Report has been redacted to remove any personal information. The report includes details of any safety inspections between May 1st and July 31st 2023.
