I would like to confirm through this Freedom of Information request the following questions relating to affordable housing development and newbuilds built by the local authority (LA) or a development company on behalf of the LA:
1. Is Wokingham Borough Council developing any new social housing? Yes
• If yes,
a) How many units will be built and completed in the financial year 2022/23 (this year)? 0
b) How many of these units are for rent? 0
c) How many of these units are for sale? 0
d) How many units are predicted to be built and completed in the financial year 2023/24 (next year)? April 2023 – March 2024 = 16
e) How many units are predicted to be built and completed in the financial years 2023/24 – 2028/29 (next five years)? 249
