Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the following information:
1. Regarding the Binfield Road between its junctions with Forrest Road and Plough Lane, between 1st September 2020 and 9th March 2023, please provide the following information:
a) The number and specific details of all road defects* reported by anyone including members of the public, and by any means (Phone, Email, letter).
b) Precise location of Defect using Lat Long or What3Words service.
c) Breakdown of number of reports by month, noting if these are just reports or claims for compensation for damage or injury.
d) The outcome for each case (e.g., repair, compensation / no action).
2. Details of Council’s Maintenance of Highways:
a) Dates for previous “scheduled” and ad-hoc (i.e. response to reports) inspections of the Binfield Road between its junctions with Forrest Road and Plough Lane between 1st September 2021 and 9th March 2023
b) Copies of the reports resulting from inspections and reports should include details of quality of the inspection including:
i. Driven or walked.
ii. Copies of photographs taken
These reports must include the full report from the inspection which took place on 12/12/2022.
c) A Copy of the Council’s Codes of Practice and/or Policies for Highway Maintenance.
*Road Defects: Includes all defects including potholes, the information requested should use categorisations as appropriate.
