Water abstractions (groundwater or surface water)

1. I would like to request any information held by Wokingham Borough Council relating to water abstractions (groundwater or surface water) within 1km of the following sites:
a) Shell, 585, Basingstoke Road, Whitley Wood, Reading, England, RG2 0TA, United Kingdom (Grid reference E471660 , N169259)
b) Shell, Old Woosehill Lane, Emmbrook, Wokingham, Borough of Wokingham, England, RG41 1HB, United Kingdom (Grid reference E 479729, N 169501)
We understand that the Environment Agency maintain records for licensed water abstractions (typically over 20m3 per day) but for smaller water abstractions, licenses are not required by the EA, but the Local Authority are responsible for maintaining a register of such private water supplies (e.g., farmhouse boreholes, private wells, springs etc.).
Please include all details held for any abstractions, including but not limited to:
i. Type of abstraction (groundwater/surface water):
ii. Water Abstraction rates (volumetric):
iii. Surface water body / groundwater unit abstracted from:
iv. Logs from abstraction boreholes:
v. Location of abstraction point (e.g. grid reference):
vi. Use of abstracted water:
vii. Any other abstraction details:
viii. Details of any water quality data held for these abstractions:

Note 1: the records held by environmental health, relate to those that we are required to hold in relation to the Private Water Supplies (England) Regulations 2016 – this relates to private supplies intended for human consumption, (and not other supplies, eg animal/commercial/industrial where human consumption is not intended.
Note 2: Wokingham Borough Council only covers a small part of the 1km radius from the address, which is in Reading Borough Council – You are advised to contact Reading Borough Council for information within their Council area.
