1. Can the Council please advise that when considering the proposed changes to rubbish collections, what figures were included in the benefit calculations for the cost of supplying and delivering new wheeled bins to all properties affected.
The costs of supply and delivery of the new bins were verified through a procurement framework and our contractor Veolia. The indicative cost for the purchase of the bin was £18 and delivery of £4 per property.

2. Also, what if any, consideration was given to the notion that a large proportion of properties do not have a place to locate these bins without adding to the overall eyesore of properties with theses bins next to their front doors or adjacent to the pavement. Detailed cost build-ups would be appreciated.
A property survey will be undertaken and those properties that do not have any rear access and no front garden for storage maybe exempt from having a wheeled bin.
