Before making a request, check the information already available:

• As part of our publication scheme.
• By searching previous requests and their answers. 

If you can't find the information you want send us a Freedom of Information request.     

What happens next

• We'll acknowledge the request within 5 working days
• We'll respond to requests within 20 working days
• If your request will take longer we'll let you know

How much does it cost?

• Most information is free
• If there is a cost we'll tell you so you can decide whether to go ahead.
• Some publications are chargeable - see Freedom of Information request fees (PDF document)
• We also charge for photocopies of documents
