Supporting all residents to vote
We know that some groups are more likely to experience barriers with this change and may need support to access photo ID.
Tailored resource packs have been produced by the Electoral Commission to help everyone understand the changes and reach out to individuals who may need support navigating the changes.
Residents whose safety would be at risk if their name or address were listed on the electoral register can register to vote anonymously by downloading and completing an application form on the Electoral Commission website.
