Delivery of the Domestic Abuse Strategy
There are 2 main multi-agency domestic abuse groups that are involved in driving the actions detailed within the strategy. The Partnership Board will focus on the delivery of Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, in respect of support for victims of domestic abuse (including children) who are residing in safe accommodation. Our wider domestic abuse response will be driven by the Networking Group.
Domestic Abuse Networking Group
The Networking group consists of over 40 local organisations that are working to support those affected by domestic abuse in Wokingham. Membership is open to all organisations who share our aspirations to improve the lives of those who are affected by domestic abuse. If you would like to be part of this group email karen.evans@wokingham.gov.uk.
The group meets bi-monthly and consist of a training element to improve our knowledge of services available and emerging best practice as well as networking opportunities.
