You can use the mainstream admissions process to apply for a school place.

Finding a school that is right for your child or young person

Every school must publish a SEN Information Report. It should be kept up to date and published on their website. This report includes information on how:

  • the school will make sure children and young people with SEND get the support they need to access the curriculum
  • they will involve parents in their child’s education and engage with young people

Colleges are also expected to publish how they support young people who need extra support.
