The school is looking for a skilled and experienced person to be responsible for Careers Provision to all students from Year 7 through to Year 13.

Waingels are committed to improving the life chances of students through the development of employability skills as well as to increase motivation, raise aspirations and achievement, equip students with the knowledge and skills to make effective decisions, and help with developing career management and employability skills. The school is looking for a skilled and experienced person to be responsible for Careers Provision to all students from Year 7 through to Year 13. This work will contribute to the successful transition of students to a variety of post 16 destinations and higher education and employment. The role will involve working closely with the Assistant Headteacher responsible for careers and other members of the careers team working together to give support to students giving them careers guidance, to supporting them in completing applications forms and giving them opportunities to find out more about work and education opportunities.Flexibility with working hours is important as some evening work will be required due to the expectation to attend Waingels open evenings and parent consultation evenings, as well as results days.
