To work along side the nursery team to provide the children with a stimulating environment to encourage and support child initiated learning by offering appropriate levels of support in a stimulating environment.

MAIN DUTIES To work along side the nursery team to provide the children with a stimulating environment to encourage and support child initiated learning by offering appropriate levels of support in a stimulating environment You will need to have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage as you will be involved in planning and developing a balanced programme of activities to support children in their learning. To support partnership with families and act as a key worker for a group of children and maintain childrens records and learning journey records. To work alongside the nursery management team to provide and maintain a high quality of care for the children.PERSON SPECIFICATION:The ideal candidate should be friendly and reliable. A friendly, calm and patient nature. A good team player with a flexible approach and able to use their initiative. Good communication and organisational skills required.Candidates would have a relevant child care Level 3 qualifications or equivalent. The nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.A fully enhanced DBS check is required for this roleQualification Essential - NVQ 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent.Qualifications Preferred - Candidates require a relevant child care level 3 qualification or equivalent.
