- £20,050 - £21,833 plus £1,104 SEN Allowance per annum
- 32.5 hrs per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days
- Monday 8.45 - 4.15, Tuesday to Friday 8.45 - 3.30 plus requirement to attend twilight sessions until 5.00 (alternates Tues/Thurs every half term)
Addington School is a large all age outstanding special school catering for pupils with a wide range of learning disabilities, many of whom also have associated sensory, motor, medical and behavioural needs. We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher Assistant to support pupils with SEND and significant challenging behaviours.
We are looking for …
- A Teacher Assistant who can work collaboratively with our staff to provide a high quality education for our pupils
- Applicants with previous experience of working with pupils with special needs with knowledge and understanding of challenging behaviours
- Skilled communicators who are sensitive to pupils’ needs who can interpret and implement behaviour support plans
