Residential Site Controller

Salary Grade 4, scp 7-11

£24,294 - £25,979 (pay award pending)

Our friendly Junior School is looking to appoint a site controller who will be able to help ensure that school building, facilities and site are maintained to a high standard and are safe and secure. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Carry out day to day maintenance of the school estate, including grounds, teaching and communal areas
  • Act as key-holder and, with other team members be responsible for the security of the school site
  • Ensure maintenance works are undertaken
  • Act as a point of contact for out-of-hours emergencies
  • Proactively identify maintenance requirements and ensure the school site is operationally safe
  • Ideally have experience within the field of plumbing, electrical work or carpentry

 

We are looking for someone with

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven experience in buildings maintenance
  • a pragmatic and solution-led approach

The role is residential, with a 3-bedroom bungalow on site.

As a member of staff in a Voluntary Aided School you are required to have regard to the character of the school and its foundation and to undertake not to do anything in any way contrary to the interests of the foundation.
