  • Do you like working with a team of caring, committed staff in a school going places?
  • Do you have the ambition and determination to secure positive outcomes for our young people?
  • Do you want to work in a forward thinking and aspirational multi-academy trust that places learning at the heart of everything it does?

St Sebastian’s CE Primary School is looking for an exceptional teacher to take up this exciting opportunity to join their supportive and friendly team.  The role will involve working with our wonderful children and have scope to influence and shape a range of initiatives and developments planned throughout the school. At the Ofsted Inspection in October 2021 they commented that everyone is welcomed with ‘compassion’ and care and that pupils, parents and staff are very proud of their kind and inclusive school.

This is a full-time role that will be based at St Sebastian’s Church of England Primary School, however the school would consider an application for someone looking to work part-time for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding teacher who motivates and inspires children to learn
  • Deliver innovative and creative learning opportunities
  • Be committed to delivering a knowledge-led curriculum
  • Have high expectations for standards of achievement and behaviour
  • Be able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Be an excellent communicator committed to working in partnership with staff, parents and governors
  • Promote our Christian ethos, vision and values
  • Be a strong and supportive team player

As a member of The Keys Academy Trust, the successful applicant will have access to high quality professional development, leadership training and career progression as well as the opportunity to work with colleagues across our family of schools as part of the Trust’s CPD programme and networking opportunities.

If you wish to apply for this role and become a member of our fantastic team, the Teacher application form is available from the school office or can be downloaded from our website https://www.st-sebastians.wokingham.sch.uk/about-us/vacancies

Visits to our school are warmly encouraged. If you would like to book a visit or would like the full job description, please contact hr@keysacademytrust.org or call the school office on 01344 772427.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced criminal records check.
