This is an information request relating to school teacher recruitment agencies. Please include the following information for the past five financial years. We define teaching recruitment agencies to be external companies that are employed to supply teaching staff to schools on a semi permanent/ temporary basis.
1. Total spent by council on teaching recruitment agencies;
2. List of all the teaching recruitment agencies that have been used including annual spend on each agency;
3. Total number of shifts filled by staff supplied by teaching recruitment agencies;
4. The highest per hour and per day rate paid to recruitment teaching agencies in each financial year stated above. In each case, can you please detail the job category of the role provided. And if there was surge pricing, the reason stated for this.
