Dinton Pastures photo ID
See notes
At Dinton Pastures it is mandatory to provide a photo ID to hire a bike. This ID is then photographed on a tablet/ipad by the staff who assure that it will be deleted within 24 hours.
1. Given the sensitivity of such information would you please confirm the process for deleting such photographic info from the company's electronic devices.
2. How Wokingham Council manages/audits this process to ensure compliance with the process and all appropriate data protection laws.
We have contacted our Dinton Pastures team and they have advised the Information Governance team that what is being referred to here is the requirement by Nature Buggies for ID. They are a private business running in the Park at Dinton and not with the Countryside Service. As a company they would be obligated to comply with the Data Protection legislation, and should be contacted directly for any enquires about their processes.
