1. Local training offer to Providers of Supported living, domiciliary care, and Extra Care within your organisation in relation to mandatory training requirements.
We offer Adult Safeguarding Level one free of charge. Other free training includes Domestic Abuse and Alcohol awareness. Other training is available on a spot purchase basis.
2. Do you provide or support providers to achieve mandatory training?
Yes, Safeguarding Level one
3. Your quality requirement relating to supporting adults with learning disability and autism?
Providers are expected to meet the requirements of their regulator (CQC). The local authority carries out care quality audits for those working in the Borough.
4. What learning disability training requirement do you have for staff supporting older adults in the community/extra care housing who may have some degree of learning disability but are not commissioned through learning disability commissioning?
Our contract states that any provider working with the council shall always employ sufficient staff with sufficient abilities, training, and experience to provide a service to people of all backgrounds.
