I am writing in relation to a request under the Freedom of Information Act. Specifically, would like to ask the following:
1. In the financial years 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24, how many complaints about mold or damp did your council receive in relation to properties in your social housing stock?
Financial Year 2021/22: 10 Complaints Regarding Damp or Mould
Financial Year 2022/23: 25 Complaints Regarding Damp or Mould
Financial Year 2023/24: 19 Complaints Regarding Damp or Mould
2. In the same financial years, how much was spent by the council on remedial work on social housing which contained damp or mould?
We do not record expenditures specifically for damp and mould issues only, as these are typically addressed as part of broader maintenance works and repair works, without conducting manual searches for such specific costs.
3. How many properties are in your council's social housing stock?
