I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information:
1. The overall number of people staying in temporary accommodation due to domestic abuse in 2023.
Total – 25, 3 households supported into refuge, 4 households provided with emergency accommodation and 18 households provided with temporary accommodation.
2. The number of women, men and children staying in temporary accommodation due to domestic abuse in 2023.
Women: 22
Men: 2
Transgender: 1
Children: 31
3. The average length of stay in temporary accommodation overall and for women, men and children, during 2023.
Single households: 31 weeks
Households including children: 48 weeks
4. The longest stay in temporary accommodation due to domestic abuse during 2023.
37 weeks
