I would like to request the following information under the 2000 Freedom of Information Act. The information relates to Social Prescribing Link Workers (SPLWs), or other workers who undertake the role of a SPLW with different role titles.
1. Please tell me if there are any organisations in your local authority area, including yourselves as the local council, which employ SPLWs? If so, please tell me the names of these organisations.
The Council commission one part time SPLW, via Involve to support a specific project. The remaining SPLW in the borough are commissioned by the Primary Care Networks that operate in the area.
2. Please tell me how many SPLWs are employed in your Local Authority area.
We are aware of 6 SPLW in the borough.
