I'm getting in touch with an FOI request regarding parking fine data (PCNs).
1. Could I receive data regarding:
a) The number of parking tickets issued in your council in 2023: 30,698 Penalty Notices issued between Jan 2023 and Dec 2023. The increase in PCN’s is due to the introduction of evening charges across all car parks in July and moving traffic in September.
b) The number of parking tickets issued in your council in 2022: 17,607 Penalty Notices issued between Jan 2022 and Dec 2022
