The cost of pothole repairs by the council between January 2021 & December 2023 is £722,888.64
2. How much was paid in compensation claims relating to damage & injuries caused by potholes by the council between January 2021 & December 2023?
In respect of claims that were referred to the council’s Insurance Team/Public Liability insurers between January 2021 and December 2023, where it was alleged that damage to vehicles and/or personal injuries were caused by ‘potholes’, the council has paid £19,621.77 in compensation.
