1. I would like to request any information held by Wokingham Council relating to water abstractions (groundwater or surface water) within 1km of the following sites:

We understand that the Environment Agency maintain records for licensed water abstractions (typically over 20m3 per day) but for smaller water abstractions, licenses are not required by the EA, but the Local Authority are responsible for maintaining a register of such private water supplies (e.g., farmhouse boreholes, private wells, springs etc.).
Please include all details held for any abstractions, including but not limited to:
a) Type of abstraction (groundwater/surface water):
b) Water Abstraction rates (volumetric):
c) Surface water body / groundwater unit abstracted from:
d) Logs from abstraction boreholes:
e) Location of abstraction point (e.g., grid reference):
f) Use of abstracted water:
g) Any other abstraction details:
h) Details of any water quality data held for these abstractions:
Wokingham Borough Council Environmental Health hold no records of private water supplies, within 1km of this site.
Note 1: the records held by environmental health, relate to those that we are required to hold in relation to the Private Water Supplies (England) Regulations 2016 - this relates to private supplies intended for human consumption, (and not other supplies, eg animal/commercial/industrial where human consumption is not intended.
