1. The number of applications to the Household Support Fund from 1 April 2023 – 31 December 2023.
There were 2,760 applications for the main Household Support Grant scheme.
Children eligible for Free School Meals and living in Wokingham Borough were provided with a food voucher during the school holidays.
Eligible residents were also able to receive a one-off emergency energy payment via Wokingham Food Bank.

2. The monetary amount of support provided to applicants to the Household Support Fund from 1 April 2023 – 1 December 2023.
The total spent on support to applicants was £749,317.

3. The number of successful applicants to the Household Support Fund from 1 April 2023 – 31 December 2023.
2,009 applications for a Household Support Grant were accepted. Of the remaining 751 applications, these were either duplicate applications; or were unable to provide evidence of eligibility; or were referred to the school holiday food voucher scheme.
There were up to 2,403 children supported with a Food voucher during the school holidays.
There were 566 emergency energy payments made.

4. What is the outstanding monetary amount from the Household Support Fund that is available before the scheme ends on 31 March 2024.
The total available was £256,477 on 31st December 2023.
