1. Does your council have homelessness staff on-site at a council building to assess people approaching as homeless? (ie can people who are homeless go to council offices in person and be assessed by a person face-to-face).
Yes, a duty Homelessness Prevention Officer is available at our Council Office Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

2. If so, are the staff full time or part time? How many full time staff are there?
We currently have 3 Homelessness Prevention Officers who provide this duty service.

3. If full time, what happens at the weekend?
Outside of working hours, anyone who is homeless can contact our out of hours services who can provide advise and assistance and can make decisions to offer emergency accommodation if it is required; the out of hours service notify our duty service of all calls and placements so that we can offer further assistance during working hours.

4. If part time, how many are there and how many days a week are people working in person?
