This is an information request relating to the MJ Awards. Please include the following information, for the 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019 awards:
Information is provided for 2022/23. The event did not take place in 2019 and we did not attend in 2020/2021

1. The total amount the council spent from its own budget attending each award ceremony
2022: £23.90
2023: £68.50
Over the 2 years the Council were shortlisted for 6 national awards, won 2 and came runner up in another. We consider the expenditure in this context to be very minimal

2. The number of representatives from the council that attended each ceremony (please provide a breakdown of the number of councillors and council officials)
2022: 8 Officers and 1 Cllr
2023: 12 Officers and 1Cllr

3. The cost of travel for each year, including the mode and class
2022: £23.90 Train Travel
2023: £68.50 Train Travel

4. The cost of accommodation for each year, including the name of the hotel or other form of accommodation:
There was no accommodation or cost
