I’m writing with a request for information on surveys for RAAC concrete carried out in schools that Wokingham Borough Council is responsible for.
Current education secretary Gillian Keegan has claimed that in March 2020 Department for Education sent surveys to schools “responsible bodies” including councils, to determine if RAAC concrete was present in school buildings. I would like to know:
1. Did Wokingham Borough Council or any of the schools it is responsible for receive a survey or request for information from the Department for Education regarding RAAC at any time since March 2020?
2. If so, when did it receive this request, and which schools did the request apply to? And when were the surveys returned?
3. Can you please also enclose any communication between WBC or the schools it is responsible for and the DfE regarding RAAC since March 2020?
4. Can you please also enclose any communication between WBC and the schools it is responsible for regarding RAAC since March 2020?
5. Can you please also enclose any communication between WBC and schools it is not responsible for, such as those managed by academy chains, regarding RAAC since March 2020?
