In respect of the consultation about the proposals for the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan for Wokingham Borough, and under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, please could you let me know the following:

1. Did you use an online platform provided by Commonplace on which to record people's comments? If not, which platform did you use?
The platform used for the initial public engagement was Commonplace (an established online public engagement platform), which employs a ‘Community Heatmap’ system hosted online to capture geographically sentiment about an area, locality, community, facility, street or route – to ascertain what issues need addressing and the ideas for changes required to improve it for the people who live there or use it or both.

The second public consultation was undertaken to gather feedback on the draft cycling and walking network plans and the high-level infrastructure proposals that were developed for the key routes within our Borough. The engagement was hosted over two different platforms:
• Commonplace (11th July – 4th September), which allows comments to be pinned to an interactive map
• Engage Survey (5th September – 2nd October), a separate conventional question-based survey. The consultation was moved to this platform due to an issue with the interactive map on Commonplace

The LCWIP document along with the full consultation reports are available to view on My Journey website - https://www.myjourneywokingham.com/cycling/local-cycling-and-walking-infrastructure-plan-lcwip/
