Lavell's Lake Local Nature Reserve LNR - 9.5 hectares

Lavell's Lake is devoted to nature conservation and is managed in partnership with The Friends of Lavells Lake, a registered charity.

Nature

It has a rich and varied bird population. It is nationally known for its migratory and resident species.

Facilities and Site Information

Access to the site is restricted, but responsible visitors are encouraged to make use of the 2 public bird hides.

Dogs are welcome. Please respect others by keeping your dog under control and preventing them from fouling public areas.

Access is possible from Sandford Lane, Woodley, or from Dinton Pastures Country Park.

Parking

There is currently no charge for parking in the Lavell's Lake car park.
