Covid-19 vaccinations

Covid-19 is more serious in some population groups. In line with expert advice, the NHS is offering vaccines to those at greater risk of serious illness from Covid-19.

The vaccines are safe and effective and are our best defence against severe disease and hospitalisation.

The Covid-19 vaccination programme  is delivered by the NHS, and Wokingham Borough Council is supporting the programme in any practical way we can.

Current programme

Please visit the Community Directory and search “Covid-19 vaccination” for the latest information on who is eligible and where to get the vaccine locally.

The NHS writes to all those who are eligible to remind them they can get the vaccine. If you are eligible, come forward as soon as you can for the best possible protection.

When you get your vaccination, bring your NHS number (or your booking reference number), and wear a face covering if you can.
